Duties

Operate back hoe, bulldozer, roll packer, tractor, front end loader, trenching machine, and other related equipment

Operates a variety of handheld tools

Inspects equipment prior to use

Fills and repairs road shoulders and participates in ditch and drainage construction

May perform Public Works Construction, maintenance, and repair duties, including flagging traffic, replacing road signs, installing driveways, digging pits, mowing rights‑of‑way, cleaning and maintaining roads, ditches and drains, and pouring, spreading, and leveling asphalt, concrete and gravel and other duties
