Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a 1st Shift Equipment Operator to join the Finishing Department at Corporate Graphics Commercial! You will be responsible for operating equipment that produces hardcover books.
Your Responsibilities:
Properly set up thecasemaker equipment to the specifications required, and operate the machine producing the best quality product possible in a productive manner
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery
Maintain the equipment in good working condition through a regular maintenance schedule
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Accurately maintain a daily production sheet and properly log all production information and material into the Hagen system
Perform any other duties as required by the supervisor
Your Shift:
1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
You Must Have:
Ability to set adjust machinery to required tolerances
High degree of mechanical ability
Ability to read and write English
Basic mathematical skills & ability to read measurements with a ruler
We Would Also Prefer:
High School Diploma/GED
1+ year experience in production or as an equipment operator
Good color discernment
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16 – $21. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
