Job summary

BHI Energy seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Sutton Steam Plant in Wilmington, NC. Local hire; travel to other plants for maintenance with per-diem when away from home base. Must have at least 3 years of heavy equipment operating experience and ability to read blueprints.

Equipment includes bulldozers, excavators, front end loaders, vibratory rollers, skid steers and mini works. You will report onsite to the Wilmington plant and to the site manager.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 3 years of heavy equipment operating experience.
• Blueprints reading ability is a plus.
• Dirt work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozers, excavators, front end loaders, vibratory roller, skid steer and mini excavator.
• Read and interpret blueprints as needed.

Job description

BHI Energy is currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator which will be based at Sutton Steam Plant, located in Wilmington, NC. This is a local hire position and will not pay any relocation fees. However, this position will REQUIRE traveling to other plants for Maintenance and you will be eligible to Receive Per-Diem when you are traveling away from Home Base. We are looking to hire multiple positions based on experience level, The applicant must have at least 3 years of experience in Heavy Equipment Operating! Dirt Work experience is a plus along with the ability to read Blueprints. The Job will require operating Bull Dozers, Excavators, Front End Loaders, Vibratory Roller, Skid Steer, Mini Ex. You will report onsite to the plant in Wilmington, NC.

You will report to the site Manager.

You will pass a drug test.

You will pass a security background.

Must be 18yrs of age.
