Job summary

Waste Resource Management (WRM) is seeking an Equipment Operator to support day-to-day production activities and site operations. You will handle excavators, front-end loaders, yard trucks, and other heavy machinery, performing pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure safety and reliability.

You will monitor equipment performance, report issues promptly, and maintain a clean, compliant work area while supporting plant operations on special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Vocational training or apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment in day-to-day production activities.
• Operate construction/site equipment (excavators, front-end loaders, yard trucks, etc.).
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and report issues promptly.
• Maintain a safe, orderly work area per safety policies.
• Support plant operations with special projects and duties.

This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient, safe, and compliant operations by handling equipment related to composting, material movement, and site maintenance.
