Job summary

Pratt Industries in Savannah, GA is seeking a loader operator to load material onto lines and trailers and to operate front-end loaders in strict accordance with the O&M manual. Daily equipment inspections and safety compliance are essential.

You will work with a team to keep storage neat, perform quality checks, and move material safely. The role may require night/weekend shifts and a strong safety mindset along with a high school education and prior machinery experience.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Minimum of six (6) months experience operating machinery.
• Must be able to follow directions and work safely.
• Professional attitude, multitasking and time management skills required.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends when necessary.
• Drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in accordance with O&M manual.

• Take material to designated storage area safely.

• Maintain general housekeeping.

Job Summary

Hiring Requirements

• High school education or equivalent (additional experience may be substituted for education)
• Minimum of six (6) months experience operating machinery
• Must have a demonstrated ability to follow directions
• Professional Attitude & conduct
• Multi-task, interpersonal communication, problem solving, and time management skills are needed.
• High degree of safety awareness and safety discipline
• Be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
• Strictly adhere to safety requirements and the policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co–workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
• Be at least age 18 years of age due to nature of working environment.
• Random and Suspicion Drug tests are performed
