Equipment Operator

Location: Orlando, FL (Taft Recycling)
Pay: $18-$21+/hr. Based on Experience + Overtime!

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Occasional Saturdays | 55-60 Hours/Week

Are you an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator who takes pride in a job well done? We're looking for skilled and safety-focused Transfer Station Equipment Operator to help us efficiently manage solid waste and keep our city running clean and smoothly!

The Job:

• Operate Heavy Equipment such as Front-End Loaders, Skid Steers, Bulldozers, and Compactors to load, move, and process Municipal Solid Waste.

• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

• Direct traffic within the Transfer Station to ensure a smooth flow of vehicles.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety across the Transfer Station.

• Collaborate with Supervisors and Team Members to meet operational goals.

Requirements:

• Experience operating Heavy Equipment in a Waste, Construction, or Industrial Environment.

• Commitment to safety and following operational procedures.

• Ability to work in outdoor environments and lift/move heavy materials when needed.

• Team-Oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
