Job Summary:

Liberty Tire Recycling is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to operate machinery such as loaders, excavators, and skid steers. This role involves working in noisy environments with exposure to extreme temperatures and performing physically demanding tasks at our Orlando, FL facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy machinery safely to collect, transport, and load/unload tires and shreds.
• Maintain the lot by keeping it clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and instructions thoroughly.
• Assist with general maintenance and other tasks around the plant and yard as needed.

Skills and Abilities:

• Experience operating heavy machinery.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Capable of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods, often on wet, slick, or uneven terrain.
• Adhere to OSHA and site-specific safety protocols.
• Reliable, flexible, and a team player.
• Willing to work in noisy, hot, cold, wet, and dirty conditions.

Education and Experience:

• Prior experience in tire recycling or manufacturing is a plus.

Compensation:

Starting at $20.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly.
