Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience to perform the responsibilities associated with this position.
• Experience in the maintenance and operation of mobile equipment, construction equipment and/or equipment used processing plants.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of off-road vehicles and heavy equipment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of off-road vehicles and heavy equipment within company guidelines and safety standards.
• Perform pre- and post-shift inspections and report needed repairs to the supervisor.
• Maintain safe traffic flow around conveyors, surge piles and crushers.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance – tire pressure, oil, grease, diesel fuel, hoses for leaks and all moving parts for proper function.
• Aiding in the training of co-workers as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Mobile Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of the front end loader in order to provide material for the production of concrete.What to expect:Martin Marietta is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of off-road vehicles and heavy equipment utilized in Mining. The offered base compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience.
