This position involves operating various construction equipment, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, front-end loaders, skid steers, asphalt and dirt rollers, and transfer machines.
Operating equipment to support construction and paving operations.
Employees must wear PPE in designated areas, including hardhat, safety glasses, reinforced-toe shoes, gloves, safety vest/high visibility clothing, and hearing protection, as outlined by OSHA and state regulations.
The physical requirements include talking, hearing, sitting, walking, standing, climbing, crawling, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Employees may need to lift/move up to 75 pounds occasionally and perform tasks such as bending, climbing, reaching frequently, and kneeling, squatting, standing, and walking occasionally.
The work environment involves working near moving mechanical parts, outdoors in cold, icy, wet, or humid conditions, with potentially high noise levels. Accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
