Qualifications

• Current Crane Operator Certification from NCCCO or NCCER/NCCA-approved organization.
• OSHA 10 Certification or higher.
• Experience operating Rough Terrain Cranes.
• Experience on industrial or heavy construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 55-Ton Rough Terrain (RT55) Crane on an active construction site.
• Lift and position steel panels and rings used in storage tanks construction.
• Safely maneuver loads according to site plans and lift procedures.
• Coordinate with ironworkers, fitters, and project personnel during lifting operations.
• Perform pre-operation equipment inspections and maintain safe crane operation practices.
• Remain available in the operator seat between scheduled lifts as project demands require.
• Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Equipment Operators for projects located in or around Manistee, MI. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $38/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Operate a 55-Ton Rough Terrain (RT55) Crane on an active construction site
• Lift and position steel panels and rings used in the construction of above-ground storage tanks
• Safely maneuver loads according to site plans and lift procedures
• Coordinate with ironworkers, fitters, and project personnel during lifting operations
• Perform pre-operation equipment inspections and maintain safe crane operation practices
• Remain available in the operator seat between scheduled lifts as project demands require
• Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements

Requirements:

• Current Crane Operator Certification from an accredited organization such as NCCCO or NCCER/NCCA-approved testing organization
• OSHA 10 Certification or higher
• Experience operating Rough Terrain Cranes
• Experience on industrial or heavy construction projects
• Must have proper PPE
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively with the project team
