Operate a 55-Ton RT crane, lift steel panels, coordinate with ironworkers, and perform pre-operation inspections. OSHA 10 and NCCCO/NCCA certifications are required. PPE must be provided and worn on site.

Qualifications

• Current Crane Operator Certification from an accredited organization (NCCCO or NCCER/NCCA-approved)
• OSHA 10 Certification or higher
• Experience operating Rough Terrain Cranes
• Experience on industrial or heavy construction projects

Responsibilities

• Operate a 55-Ton Rough Terrain (RT55) Crane on an active construction site
• Lift and position steel panels and rings used in the construction of above-ground storage tanks
• Safely maneuver loads according to site plans and lift procedures
• Coordinate with ironworkers, fitters, and project personnel during lifting operations
• Perform pre-operation equipment inspections and maintain safe crane operation practices
• Remain available in the operator seat between scheduled lifts as project demands require
• Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Equipment Operators for projects located in or around Manistee, MI. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $38/hour based on experience and skill level. • Remain available in the operator seat between scheduled lifts as project demands require
• Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements

Requirements:

• Current Crane Operator Certification from an accredited organization such as NCCCO or NCCER/NCCA-approved testing organization
• OSHA 10 Certification or higher
• Experience operating Rough Terrain Cranes
• Experience on industrial or heavy construction projects
• Must have proper PPE
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively with the project team
