Job description

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will play a pivotal role in our construction team's success. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Equipment Operation:Proficiently operate a range of heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and/or compactors, to execute assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Maintenance:Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Identify and report any issues or necessary repairs promptly.
  • Coordination:Collaborate closely with supervisors and fellow crew members to ensure tasks are completed as per project requirements and within specified timelines.
  • Safety Adherence:Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Damage Control:Monitor and control equipment operation to minimize damage to property, equipment, and utilities while maximizing productivity.
  • Documentation:Maintain accurate daily logs and reports regarding equipment usage, maintenance activities, and any incidents or accidents that occur on-site.
  • Work Area Management:Keep your work area clean and well-organized, promoting an efficient and hazard-free workspace.
  • Team Collaboration:Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure open communication and a streamlined workflow.

  • Experience:Proven track record as a Heavy Equipment Operator, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.
