Job Title: Equipment Operator at Clean Harbors

$27.00/hr - $30.00/hr

Job Description

As an Equipment Operator I, you will operate heavy equipment at a Clean Harbors facility or a customer location. You will ensure daily maintenance duties are performed and communicate any issues immediately.

Shift and Compensation

Pay: $27-$30/hr

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety by following all safe work practices and policies
• Operate excavators, backhoes, and roll-off trucks
• Assist with moving drums as needed
• Operate equipment safely and according to SOPs
• Complete and submit all required paperwork for waste tracking

Qualifications

• Hoisting license required
• Ability to operate yellow iron equipment (backhoe, excavator, front-end loader)
• Minimal computer skills
• Experience with loading/unloading bulk liquids and solids
• Forklift operation experience
• Housekeeping skills
• Wearing PPE
• Availability to join the snow team during cold months
• Must be clean-shaven (mustache allowed)
• At least 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment
• Previous industrial labor experience is a plus
