Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc.

(Elliot) is seeking an Equipment Operator to excavate for underground electrical conduit installations, supporting a full‑service electrical contracting operation. Ideal candidates will have experience operating excavators of all sizes and other heavy equipment (dump trucks, skid steers, boom forklifts), plus knowledge of basic excavation safety and the ability to obtain a medical card; electrical installation experience is helpful.

Job Description

The Equipment Operator will be responsible for excavating for underground electrical conduit installations.

Qualifications

• Experience with excavators of all sizes, as well as with crossing/digging across utilities
• Experience with other equipment types, such as dump trucks, skid steers, shooting boom forklifts, etc.
• Knowledge of basic excavation safety rules and procedures
• Must have, or be able to obtain, a medical card
• Experience with electrical installations is helpful, but not required
