Summary

CTI Recycling is seeking a self-motivated and experienced Equipment Operator for our concrete recycling plant(s). The Equipment Operator will operate equipment such as skid loaders, backhoes, excavators, etc., in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. The role requires skill in manipulating equipment and constant attention to safety. Operators will also assist other crew members with general labor tasks when work is complete.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Operate standard concrete construction equipment safely and skillfully.
2. Perform daily preventative maintenance and minor repairs to maintain equipment in proper working condition.
3. Conduct daily safety inspections before and after equipment use.
4. Assist recycling crews with concrete crushing production when equipment work is completed.
5. Follow all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate safety equipment and adhering to OSHA and other regulations.
6. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. At least 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
3. Excellent attendance and reliability.
4. Proficient in verbal and written communication.
5. Ability to maintain high work quality.
6. Strong time management skills and adaptability to change.
7. Ability to pass drug screening, physical, and background checks.
