Martin Marietta in Kansas is seeking a motivated individual to join our grading team. The role involves operating large equipment such as Cat excavators and bulldozers to move overburden in quarries around Kansas, with travel to nearby sites from Grantville to Onaga and St. Mary’s.

Based in Grantville, this is a full-time, 40+ hour per week position. Essential duties include safety participation, equipment inspection, basic maintenance, teamwork, proper PPE, and reporting repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid US driver's license required.
• Bulldozers and excavator experience preferred.
• 1+ years related experience.
• Valid US driver's license (redundant but stated).

Responsabilités

• Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment.

Pay: $23-$26 an hour

Hours: Monday - Friday 6am-6pm

Martin Marietta is currently looking for a motivated individual to join our Kansas Grading Team. This position will have the opportunity to operate large equipment like the 374 Cat Excavator or D8 Cat bulldozer removing overburden in different quarries around Kansas. This position will be based out of Grantville, KS but will travel around to locations near Onaga, St. Mary’s, and Soldier Kansas to move dirt and shale in the mining process.

Essential Functions

• Participate in safety programs and training, promoting Martin Marietta’s Guardian Angel culture

Physical Abilities

• Ability to work in an outdoor environment year-round
• General physical activities include climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, reaching with hands and arms, and handling materials
