Job summary

Kaweah Delta Water Conservation District in Farmersville, CA is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to operate a variety of heavy machinery and conduct routine maintenance in a safety‑minded environment.

Applicants must have 5+ years of hands-on experience with excavators, tractors, loaders, and similar equipment, and hold California Class A and Class C licenses. Starting wage is $25.00–$27.00 per hour with CalPERS and fully paid health benefits.

Job description

Kaweah Delta Water Conservation District (District), a District dedicated to groundwater recharge, flood water management and surface water facility maintenance, is looking to hire a reliable and experienced Equipment Operator.

Applicants must be skilled in the operation of a wide range of heavy, earthmoving machinery and must be able to maintain equipment daily and perform minor repairs when necessary to ensure safety and proper upkeep. A minimum of 5 years experience is necessary; including but not limited to operating excavators, tractors, loaders, and similar pieces of equipment. The candidate must be reliable, trustworthy and a good timekeeper and be willing to work overtime when required. Possession of both a California Class A and Class C License are also requirements.

Wages for this position will depend on qualifications and experience. Starting salary range is $25-$27/hour. CalPERS & fully paid health benefits provided to the employee.
