THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

As an Equipment Operator at Ulta Beauty, you will ensure the safe transport of products throughout the distribution center, making the center a model of productivity, efficiency, and reliability for the broader Ulta Beauty enterprise. Machinery includes standup forklifts, order selectors, reach trucks, powered pallet jacks, and dock stockers, primarily operated via RF scanners.

You will accomplish this by:

• Operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) with certification provided
• Performing daily equipment checks
• Following all safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment, including hazard recognition, accident reporting, and proper safety equipment use
• Reporting equipment issues or safety hazards to supervisors
• Picking, packing, and restocking orders accurately
• Sorting, counting, and receiving merchandise
• Moving products safely using material handling equipment
• Building pallets for shipment using conveyors
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Organizing storage space efficiently
• Adhering to safety, quality, and production standards
• Using scanners for work directives
• Handling and lifting items up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Performing physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing, walking, and climbing stairs during shifts
• Using visual and auditory cues to perform warehouse functions safely
• Working overtime as needed
• Following instructions accurately and working effectively in teams
• Performing other warehouse tasks as assigned

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

Qualified candidates are self-motivated, dependable, aged 18+, and capable of completing training and certification. Additional requirements include:

• Solid math skills
• High school diploma or GED preferred; experience/training a plus but not required
• 1-2 years of certified equipment operation experience preferred
• Knowledge of RF scanners and basic computer skills preferred

Essential Functions:

• Exposure to loud noises, high places, variable temperatures, dust, and scents
• May work in narrow aisles or trailers
