Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental in Casa Grande, AZ is hiring an Equipment Operator to join a safety‑focused team. You will operate excavators and forklifts, perform pre/post inspections, and handle waste materials in compliance with EPA/OSHA regulations. This role requires physical stamina and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• A minimum of 1–2 years experience operating excavators and other equipment.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a reliable form of transportation.
• Must be willing to consent to background checks and drug screening, including THC, and participate in a random drug screening program.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and forklifts, as well as other equipment.
• Develop understanding of DOT, EPA & OSHA regulations and TEI's Health and Safety Practices.
• Understand and execute all required paperwork.
• Routinely perform pre- and post-use inspections.
• Stabilize and solidify EPA listed hazardous waste for disposal.
• Process waste materials per landfill, waste to energy and recycle specifications.
• Work with stabilization and treatment reagents.
• Maintain facility to meet/exceed permit requirements.
• Assist Facility Manager as requested.
• Maintain good attendance.

• Operate excavators and fork lifts, as well as other equipment

Qualifications

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred but not required
• A minimum of 1-2 years experience operating excavators, as well as other equipment
• Basic knowledge of, or interest in, hazardous waste field
• Self-motivation with the desire to learn
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
• Must have a reliable form of transportation
• Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
  
• Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
  
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis
  
• Ability to work overtime on a regular basis
  
• Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday)
  
• Must be able to report to designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts
  
• The (Position Title) frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment. This role is considered safety-sensitive.

Preferred Requirements:

• Prior relevant industry experience
• Active HAZWOPER 24 or 40 hour certification
• Willingness to obtain Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
