Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental in the United States is seeking an Equipment Operator to join a safety-first team committed to employee growth through training and mentoring. You will operate excavators, forklifts and related equipment, while adhering to DOT, EPA, OSHA regulations and TEI safety practices.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1–2 years equipment experience, ability to pass screenings, lift 60 pounds, and availability for overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• 1–2 years experience operating excavators and other equipment.
• Basic knowledge of hazardous waste field.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds and work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and forklifts and other equipment as assigned.
• Follow DOT, EPA & OSHA regulations and TEI safety practices.
• Complete required paperwork and perform pre/post inspections.
• Assist with facility maintenance to meet permit requirements.
• Participate in emergency rotations and maintain attendance.

Essential responsibilities and duties include:

• Operate excavators and fork lifts, as well as other equipment
• Develop an understanding of DOT, EPA & OSHA regulations andTEI's Health and Safety Practices
• Understand and execute all required paperwork
• Routinely perform pre- and post-use inspections
• Stabilize and solidify EPA listed hazardous waste for disposal
• Process waste materials per landfill, waste to energy and recycle specifications
• Work with various stabilization and treatment reagents
• Maintain facility to meet/exceed permit requirements
• Assist Facility Manager as requested
• Maintain good attendance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred but not required
• A minimum of 1-2 years experience operating excavators, as well as other equipment
• Basic knowledge of, or interest in, hazardous waste field
• Self-motivation with the desire to learn
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
• Must have a reliable form of transportation
• Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
  
• Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company's commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
  
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis
  
• Ability to work overtime on a regular basis
  
• Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday)
  
• Must be able to report to designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts
  
• The (Position Title) frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment. This role is considered safety-sensitive.

Preferred Requirements:

• Prior relevant industry experience
• Active HAZWOPER 24 or 40 hour certification
• Willingness to obtain Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
