Job summary

SPATCO Energy Solutions is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator/Installer for EV Installation to join our team. You will operate heavy equipment and assist in installing EV infrastructure, piping, electrical, and concrete work at fueling and charging sites.

Ideal candidates bring strong coordination, ability to read plans, troubleshoot equipment, and work safely under time constraints while collaborating with foremen and crews.

Qualifications

SPATCO is looking for an energetic Heavy Equipment Operator/Installer for EV Installation to join our team. This person will operate heavy equipment, assist in the installation of EV installation, piping, electrical, excavating, busting and removal of concrete, installing dispensers, and other petroleum related work.

Essential Functions:

• Operateheavy equipmentin compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures.
• Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers.
• Ensure company equipment and materials are maintained, kept cleaned, and stored in a safe manner.
• Observe distribution of paving material to adjust machine settings or material flow, and indicate low spots for workers to add materials.
• Proactively communicatewith foreman, superintendent and coworkers.
• Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation as required.

Experience, Competencies and Education

• Hand and Foot Coordination: You need to beable to coordinate movements of your hands and feet in order to guide very large machinery in tight places.
• Operation Monitoring: The ability to read gauges, dials, and other indicators, adjust them is necessary.
• Coordination: On busy construction sites, you must be able to coordinate your actions with those of other workers.
• Troubleshooting: Be able to detect and fix operating problems.
• Critical Thinking : Your job will require you to identify the strengths and weaknesses of solutions to problems in order to choose the one that is most likely to be successful.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift 75 –100 lbs when necessary during the course of performing their necessary duties.
• Must have the ability and willingness to work in all types of adverse conditions such as extreme weather, enclosed spaces and heights up to 80 feet.
• Experience reading plans and understanding tasks at hand.
• Ability to work without close supervision once directed on task.
• Work safely under time constraints efficiently and have the ability to work well with others.
