Elephas, a Madison, WI based biotechnology start-up company, is seeking a highly motivated operations equipment technical lead to join our team. Applicants should be comfortable in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

This position is responsible for the coordination of all company equipment. This includes ensuring that equipment is operational, maintained, calibrated, and qualified, as necessary to meet site quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a science field with hands-on lab experience.
• Understanding of basic scientific equipment, instrumentation and computer applications.
• Familiarity with user needs for lab equipment and equipment operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of equipment needs at the company.
• Lead management of the site’s equipment maintenance system and train users.
• Participate in calibration, qualification, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Serve as equipment liaison for vendor inquiries and maintain QA-compliant records.
