Teichert is seeking a skilled Mechanic to maintain and repair small engine tools, on-road passenger vehicles, semi-trucks, and off-road heavy equipment at our Chico, California facility. The role involves diagnosing, disassembly, repairs, rebuilds, and reassembly of engines, hydraulics, fuel systems, electrical systems, and powertrains, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

The position requires cutting, torching, grinding, welding, rigging, and use of hand tools in a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Perform quality maintenance, diagnosis, disassembly, inspections, repairs, rebuilds, and reassembly on engines and equipment.
• Perform scheduled and routine maintenance; prepare parts and tools; record measurements.
• Repair or replace components such as engines, power trains, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Fabricate using cutting and welding to install machinery.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and operate equipment as needed.
