Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• OSFM Fire Mechanic and ASE certifications desirable.
• Must obtain OSFM Fire Mechanic Level 1 within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled vehicle maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Inspects, adjusts, and replaces parts including brakes, seals, and bearings.
• Reads manuals and schematics to guide repairs.
• Schedules preventive maintenance and operates repair equipment.
• Performs related duties as required.
