Job summary

Centuri Construction Group, Inc. is seeking a Mechanic to perform maintenance on construction vehicles and large equipment at our sites. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and timely repairs to keep fleets productive.

You will work across various construction sites, handling engines, electrical issues, and coordinating with operations for schedules. A valid license and willingness to obtain a Class A CDL are required to ensure mobility between sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge of construction related equipment.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Existing CDL or ability/willingness to obtain Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of small engines, both gas and diesel.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment (oil/fluids).
• Maintain inventory records of repairs, parts, and inventories.
• Coordinate with operations for scheduling repairs and PMs.
• Provide after-hours support for critical timelines when needed.
• Diagnose and correct electrical problems.
• Use pneumatic tools for construction equipment.
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership.
