Modesto City Schools is seeking a general automotive repair person with 4+ years of experience or 48 months through an accredited apprenticeship program.

The role requires a valid California CDL Class B with air brakes and P endorsement to be obtained within six months, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to provide basic hand tools. Other requirements include a medical examiner's certificate and DMV printout after offer.

Formación

• Four years of automotive repair experience or 48 months experience via an accredited apprenticeship program, skill training program or general equipment mechanic.
• High school diploma or GED/CHSPE certificate.
• Must provide basic hand tools to perform duties.
• Physical ability to lift/carry/push/pull objects up to 100 pounds in job simulations.
• CDL Class B with air brakes certificate and P Endorsement to be obtained within six months of employment.
• Medical examiner's certificate per FMCSA regulations.
• DOT Power Industrial Truck Operator’s Permit to be obtained within 60 days.
• DMV printout required within 5 days of offer.
