Situated on 26 acres, Blakeley BoatWorks is a full‑service shipyard focused on new construction and marine repair projects. With our 1,900‑short‑ton capacity floating dry dock and a 660‑short‑ton Travelift, Blakeley BoatWorks has a professional and skilled workforce committed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
The Equipment Mechanic is part of a team responsible for upkeep of various types of equipment at the shipyard. Qualified candidates must be familiar with small engine repair. The ideal candidate will be a problem‑solver with a passion for marine repairs and a commitment to safety.
- Experience in equipment maintenance and repair on telehandlers, manlifts, air compressors and welding machines.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Dedication to safety practices.
While not required, experience in maintenance and repairs on Grove cranes, Manitowoc crane and marine travel lifts is preferred.
