Job summary

Silicon Desert Staffing is seeking a senior technician in Tempe, AZ to perform advanced maintenance on ASM E2000 CVD reactors and related systems. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize high-voltage electrical subsystems, PCBs, and metrology-driven processes to ensure yield and reliability.

The role requires hands-on experience with epitaxial growth, gas delivery control, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment, specifically CVD epitaxy reactors.
  • Advanced knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems and safety practices.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Strong understanding of epitaxial growth processes and related metrology.
  • Hands-on experience with gas controls and delivery systems.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and mentoring abilities.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced maintenance and troubleshooting on ASM E2000 CVD reactors and associated systems, including RP pumps, abatement scrubbers, and gas flow equipment.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems and diagnostic techniques to ensure safe, reliable operation.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and analyze PCBs and low-voltage electronic assemblies for optimal functionality and rapid resolution of equipment issues.
  • Understand and apply epitaxial growth processes related to thermal and flow dynamics; develop and write process recipes as needed.
  • Interpret metrology results to assess reactor and equipment performance and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain and optimize gas controls and delivery systems to improve process stability and yield.
  • Mentor Facilities & Maintenance Technicians to strengthen troubleshooting skills and equipment knowledge.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and equipment upgrades to improve yield, reliability, and throughput.
  • Maintain accuracy of parts and inventory tracking systems.
  • Ensure all operations comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to LSRL’s Quality System procedures and contribute to its continuous improvement.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
