Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician for semiconductor diffusion at a 200mm facility in Gresham, OR. You will perform preventive, corrective, and diagnostic maintenance on advanced tools in a fast-paced cleanroom environment.

The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent military experience, 2+ years in technician maintenance, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Night shift with 15% differential and overtime possibilities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in electrical, mechanical, or robotics Engineering or equivalent military experience.
• Minimum 2 years of prior technician maintenance experience, ideally on semiconductor diffusion equipment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance and diagnose root causes.
• Dismantle, adjust, and repair equipment per maintenance specs and manuals.
• Use schematics, tools, gauges, and test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and repair.
• Drive solutions and write maintenance procedures and specifications.
• Perform scheduled tool qualifications.
• Vendor management and coordination.
• Provide leadership to other technicians through training and mentoring.
• Work in a cleanroom with required PPE and safety gear.
• Standing up to 75% of shift; lift up to 50 lbs; may handle hazardous materials.

Equipment Maintenance Technician (Semiconductor Diffusion)

Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician (Diffusion)

Location: Gresham, OR

Employment Type: Direct hire employee with full benefits

Compensation: $25/hour to $50/hour DOE, plus sign on bonus ($3,000 w/ Associates, $5,000 w/ Bachelors) plus shift differential

Schedule: Night Shift B - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday e/o Saturday 7 PM -7:06 AM night shift differential of 15% is added.

Military candidates will be considered as long as they have machine maintenance experience (diffusion semi equipment exp not required).

• Requires lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring (Requirements):

• Associate's degree in electrical, mechanical, or robotics Engineering or equivalent military experience.
• Minimum 2 years of prior technician maintenance experience (ideally on semiconductor diffusion equipment - they will consider military candidates with 'related' maintenance experience) that includes p ractical knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems and controls.

What Sets You Apart:

• Experience with SEMITOOL batch spray solvent tools, Siconnex batch spray solvent tool, DNS WS-820L, WS-820C, FC820L, FC821L, FC820L-2, and MEI Evolution Wet benches. LAM(SEZ) SP-203, 223, 4200, and Davinci single wafer cleaning tools.
• Knowledge of the Wet and Solvent areas, including general process theory and equipment mechanics
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Ability to recognize deviations from normal operation when they are developing.
• Understands and supports the 5S process.
