Job summary

onsemi is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer - Photo in Gresham, OR. You will maintain a fleet of semiconductor equipment in the Photo Lithography area, lead tool ownership for ASML PAS5500 scanners, and support TEL Act8/DNS tracks.

You will drive improvements, installations, and upgrades to optimize capacity and factory performance. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in engineering and 5+ years with relevant tools, with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or robotics engineering.
• 5+ years of equipment experience with ASML PAS5500 scanners, TEL Act8, DNS 200W tracks, DNS 80 scrubbers, and Nikon i14 steppers.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
• Practical knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems and controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
• Study equipment performance and reliability, and execute projects to increase overall stability.
• Establish programs and solutions for increasing tool uptime/reliability and improving product quality.
• Provide hands-on technical and maintenance support when necessary.
• Define and write preventative maintenance schedules, best-known methods, and other maintenance procedures.
• Drive, maintain, and support continual improvement projects, including OEEs and supplier parts.
• May provide leadership by mentoring and training maintenance technicians.

onsemi is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer - Photo in Gresham, OR. As an Equipment Maintenance Engineer at onsemi's premier 200mm manufacturing facility, you will work in a dynamic team environment, maintaining a fleet of semiconductor manufacturing equipment within the Photo Lithography process area. The candidate will primarily serve as the tool owner for the ASML PAS5500 (400/700/1150) Scanners, Nikon i14 steppers, and will serve as the backup engineer supporting TEL Act8 and DNS 200W Tracks. You will have the opportunity to lead and participate in a variety of high-profile projects, including tooling conversions, new tool installations, and equipment upgrades. Project execution and performance will directly impact the company’s strategic plan to optimize capacity and factory performance.

• Maintain current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
• Study equipment performance and reliability, and execute projects to increase the overall stability of the performance of the tools.
• Establish programs and solutions for increasing tool uptime/reliability and improving product quality.
• Provide hands-on technical and maintenance support when necessary.

• Drive, maintain, and support continual improvement projects, including Overall Equipment Effectiveness teams, part sourcing, and in-house repair.
• May provide leadership by mentoring and training maintenance technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or robotics Engineering.
• 5 plus years of equipment experience with ASML PAS5500 (400/700/1150) Scanners, TEL Act8 Tracks, DNS 200W Tracks, DNS 80 (A/B/EX) Scrubbers, and Nikon i14 Steppers.
• Must possess good interpersonal, teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
• Practical knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems and controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

• Semiconductor experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the photolithography area, including general process theory and equipment mechanics.
• Project Management experience.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and manufacturing principles.
• Experience in training and leading maintenance technicians.
