SkyWater Technology Foundry, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician 2 for the Metro/Photo C shift to perform preventive maintenance on semiconductor fabrication equipment and troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems. The role involves a training period on E shift, followed by a 12-hour C shift.

The candidate will work with Windows-based tools, participate in cross-functional teams, and handle chemicals and spares inventory in a fast-paced fab environment.

Qualificações

• 2-year technical/Associate degree or equivalent military training/work experience.
• 5+ years semiconductor equipment experience.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and complete required documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Use test/diagnostic gear to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment.
• Complete and maintain documentation for quality standards.
• Rebuild equipment and sub-assemblies as required.
• Modify equipment as directed by engineers; participate in 5S+/CIP teams.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage small project tasks.
• Handle chemicals and maintain spares inventory.

Equipment Maintenance Technician 2- Metro/Photo C Shift

Sign-On Bonus: All new hires for this role will receive up to $7,500 sign-on bonus (amount dependent on experience).

Position Summary: Our Equipment Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing preventative maintenance, electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and installation of various semiconductor fabrication machines and equipment.

Shift: During training for the first few months, you will be on E Shift: Monday- Friday 8:00AM- 5:00PM.

After training, move to the following shift: C Shift: Thursday-Saturday and every other Wednesday, 6:00AM- 6:15PM.

Tool Area: Metro/ Photo

Responsibilities:

• Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble Semiconductor Fabrication equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating and repair manuals.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment to identify root cause problems and put corrective actions in place.
• Perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance duties on Semiconductor production equipment.
• Complete and maintain required documentation for quality standards.
• Rebuild equipment and sub-assemblies as required.
• Perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.
• Participate in Maintenance or cross-functional teams such as 5S+ and CIP.
• Take ownership of small projects and equipment assembly tasks.
• Work with outside vendors as required.
• Process chemical and gas handling.
• Maintains critical spares and consumables inventory.

Required Qualifications

Education: 2 Year Technical/Associates Degree in Science, Math, Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing or a related discipline Or equivalent military training / work experience.

Experience and/or Training:

• 5+ Years of Semiconductor Equipment Experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in performing electro\mechanical\fluidic circuit troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, and equipment modification.
• Able to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation; demonstrate solid work performance in an environment requiring high level of attention to detail and timeliness.
• Ability to define, initiate, manage, and execute on projects to improve tool/equipment function and metrics. The ability to work in a cross-functional team environment, prioritize tasks, and plan for maintenance is essential.
• Use hand tools including wrenches, calipers, voltage/current meters, oscilloscopes and other various equipment technology specific tooling.

Technology/Equipment: Competent with Windows OS interfaces, MS office suite.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience and/or Training:

• Semiconductor experience.
• Familiarity with Robotic / Automated handling systems & High vacuum systems.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to work 12 hours shifts. Will start on E shift M-F, 8 hour days and move to A or C 12 hour shift in the future.
• Ability to work with and around chemicals.
• Wear complete fab attire for an entire shift and meet all safety and cleanroom requirements.
