SkyWater Technology is hiring Equipment Maintenance Technicians in Bloomington to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems on semiconductor fabrication equipment in the Films department.
The role requires a 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years in a maintenance manufacturing position, and ability to work 12-hour shifts with strict safety and documentation standards.
All new hires for this role will receive up to $7,500 sign‑on bonus (amount dependent on experience).
A shift: Sunday through Tuesday in one week, and Sunday through Wednesday in the other week, from 6:00 am–6:15 pm.
Our Equipment Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing preventative maintenance, electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and installation of various semiconductor fabrication machines. This role will be working in the Films department.
The job also requires performing other duties as assigned.
Education: 2‑Year Technical/Associates Degree in Science, Math, Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing or a related discipline, or equivalent military training/work experience.
Technology/Equipment: Competent with Windows OS interfaces and MS Office suite.

The hourly range for this role is $25.85–$38.77 per hour. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job‑related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
