ManpowerGroup is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician for a Salt Lake City location. You will join a Service and Maintenance team supporting a varied fleet of rental equipment, focusing on safety, reliability, and efficient operation.

The role requires hands-on mechanical troubleshooting across hydraulic, electrical, diesel systems with occasional on-site client repairs. A high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of relevant experience are expected, with a valid license; CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment or commercial vehicles.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and safety inspections across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and repair heavy machinery, aerial lifts, generators, and light towers.
• Document work with detailed work orders, track parts usage, and maintain asset maintenance history in electronic systems.
• Support on-site repairs at customer job sites under varying weather and field conditions.
• Follow safety policies, OSHA regulations, and manufacturer procedures to keep equipment and people safe.

Our client is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join their team. As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Service and Maintenance team supporting a branch location with a varied fleet of rental equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety mindset, hands‑on mechanical troubleshooting skills, and the drive to keep machinery operating safely and efficiently—which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Pay Range: $21-$22 DOE

Shift: 7am-4:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and safety inspections across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and complete major or minor repairs on heavy machinery, aerial lifts, generators, and light towers.
• Document work accurately by completing detailed work orders, tracking parts usage, and maintaining asset maintenance history in company electronic systems.
• Support occasional on‑site repairs at customer job sites, diagnosing equipment problems under varying weather and field conditions.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and manufacturer‑mandated maintenance procedures to keep equipment and people safe.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1–2 years of hands‑on experience repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment or commercial vehicles.
• Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and diesel engines, with the ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Possession of standard mechanic’s tools required for heavy equipment repair.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL is a plus).
