Job summary

Silicon Desert Staffing seeks a skilled technician to support plasma etch, ion implantation, wet processing, and related semiconductor processing equipment in a fast-paced Florida production environment.

You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify improvements, perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, and uphold safety and quality standards in the etch and wet process areas.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting advanced semiconductor process equipment used in etch, plasma processing, and related wafer fabrication operations.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Strong electrical and electronic diagnostic skills.
• Proven problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities.
• Working knowledge of SPC and its application within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production setting while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Support plasma etch, ion implantation, wet processing, cleaning, and ancillary semiconductor equipment.
• Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify equipment improvements and implement corrective actions.

Job description

You’d support a variety of plasma etch, ion implantation, wet processing, cleaning, and ancillary semiconductor manufacturing equipment, partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify equipment improvements and implement corrective actions, and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on semiconductor processing equipment within the etch and wet process areas.

• 5+ years of experience supporting advanced semiconductor process equipment used in etch, plasma processing, and related wafer fabrication operations.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Strong electrical and electronic diagnostic skills.
