Job summary

PacSci EMC, Chandler, AZ, is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic factory equipment. You will maintain PM schedules, keep accurate records in CMMS, and support installation and improvement of production lines.

The role requires 3+ years in maintenance, basic computer skills, and strong communication. Soldering is a plus; some weekend work may be required as major repairs and rebuilds occur.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three or more years of maintenance experience preferred.
  • Basic computer/database proficiency and strong communication.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic factory equipment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS and complete work on time.
  • Own and perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and facilities.
  • Assist in design, fabrication and qualification of new equipment.
  • Perform major repairs and rebuilds, including some weekends/holidays.
  • Identify parts and supplies, obtain quotes, and order parts.
  • Assist in installation and relocation of process equipment and safety reviews.
  • Conduct hazard and ergonomic assessments and implement upgrades.
  • Follow safety and change-management processes.

Chandler, AZ, United StatesPrimary Responsibilities and Qualifications:Functional knowledge and skills in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic factory equipment.Maintain accurate maintenance records and completed work within the maintenance database/CMMS.Own and perform preventative maintenance on assigned production equipment and facilities in accordance with established PM schedules and methods. Continuously improve PM effectiveness and documentation.Assist in design, fabrication, and qualification of new manufacturing equipment.Perform major equipment repairs and rebuilds (some weekends and holidays required).Properly identify parts and supplies needed to support repairs and upgrades of equipment. Obtain quotes and order parts from suppliers.Assist engineers and factory managers with installation and relocation of process equipment.
