Form Energy is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Team Leader to direct daily maintenance for our Weirton, WV facility, providing hands‑on leadership to technicians and ensuring preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance is completed safely and efficiently.

Relocation assistance is available. The role partners with Maintenance Management, Operations, Engineering, and other teams to improve reliability and drive continuous improvement within a high‑volume manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a high‑volume environment.
• Experience leading maintenance technicians in a production setting.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS and work management processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities for assigned shifts and areas.
• Provide hands‑on troubleshooting and technical support for mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance tasks are completed on schedule.
• Coach and develop maintenance technicians through on‑the‑job training.
• Ensure safety compliance with company procedures and LOTO.
• Support spare parts identification, inventory, and equipment readiness.

Role Description

Form Energy is hiring an Equipment Maintenance Team Leader to lead day‑to‑day maintenance activities and support the reliability and availability of production equipment at our Weirton facility. This role will provide hands‑on leadership to maintenance technicians, coordinate daily work, and ensure preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance activities are completed safely and effectively. The Team Leader will work closely with Maintenance Management, Operations, Engineering, and other support teams to troubleshoot equipment issues, improve reliability, and drive continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to help build and lead a high‑performing maintenance organization supporting Form Energy's rapid growth and breakthrough technology.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities for assigned shifts and production areas.
• Provide hands‑on troubleshooting and technical support for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
• Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance activities are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Coach, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians through hands‑on training and technical guidance.
• Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company procedures, LOTO requirements, and applicable standards.
• Support critical spare parts identification, inventory management, and equipment readiness.

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a high‑volume manufacturing or production environment.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, with working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives, controls, and automated equipment.
• Previous experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating maintenance technicians in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices and CMMS‑based work management.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex equipment problems, prioritize work, and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and teamwork skills with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Where you’ll work:

This role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV-an easy commute from the city of Pittsburgh, PA. This 550,000‑square‑foot facility is our hub for high‑volume battery production and a leader in the new era of American energy manufacturing. Relocation assistance is available.
