Job summary

TOTE Maritime Alaska seeks an Equipment and Maintenance Supervisor in Tacoma, WA. This role oversees all terminal equipment and vehicle maintenance, manages budgets, labor, and inventory, and ensures timely delivery of serviceable equipment to customers.

Key responsibilities include supervising staff, controlling costs, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with vendors for quotes and repairs. This is a full-time exempt position based in Tacoma with potential after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Four years of automotive/warehouse experience, with two of those years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Supervises non-supervisory employees and handles interviewing, hiring, and training.
• Manages budgets and KPIs; ensures on-time delivery of serviceable equipment.
• Maintains inventory and procurement processes for parts and equipment.
• Oversees safety, compliance, and environmental standards.
• Provides backup support with stakeholders for hazardous waste management.
