The Equipment Maintenance Manager ensures that Skorpios’ semiconductor processing (CMP, etch, films, lithography, wet tools), metrology, and packaging equipment is clean, stable, and available for a 24x365 semiconductor fab operation. The Manager ensures rapid response to equipment failures, and executes preventive maintenance plans to minimize failures. The Manager analyzes equipment availability, MTBF and MTTR, failure modes and mode changes in order to update protocols or to identify negative trends and propose plans to mitigate them. The position works closely with the manufacturing team and engineering for scheduling and troubleshooting of issues, and requires direct engagement and hands‑on activities for equipment repairs in the cleanroom.
This position is located at a facility that operates under International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, political asylee, or refugee).

Skorpios embraces a total compensation philosophy that includes a base salary and eligibility for overtime for non‑exempt roles. The base salary range is $150,000 to $170,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. The actual starting rate will be determined based on role‑related criteria, including educational qualifications or equivalent experience, relevant work history, and the skills required for the role.
