Job summary

Sierra Circuits, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to perform routine and emergency maintenance across facilities and equipment. The role requires following preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshooting, and coordinating with the Maintenance Manager.

You may be required to operate a forklift and handle spare parts logistics. The candidate should have 2–4 years of maintenance experience, strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, and the ability to read technical diagrams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of experience as a maintenance technician.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge of industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
• Fluent in English; able to lift 20 lbs and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment per the preventive maintenance schedule.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and document work orders.
• Use proper tools and techniques to perform tasks in a professional and safe manner.
• Research, order, and prepare spare parts with cost-effective solutions.
• Report potential problems to the Maintenance Manager and maintain clean, safe work areas.

$30-$50hr Monday - Friday 6AM-2:30PMSUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION:The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of routine and emergency maintenance to all Sierra Circuits, Inc. facilities and equipment as directed by the Maintenance & Facilities Manager.RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Conduct periodic inspections on assigned equipment according to Preventive Maintenance Schedule (ISO Form 11-01-01-B).Perform preventative maintenance work on equipment and machineries to prevent breakdowns, costly repairs, and the development of unsafe conditions.Promptly respond to and complete job requisitions according to request forms and submit to Maintenance.Use proper tools and techniques to perform the required tasks in a professional and safe manner.Research, order, and prepare spare parts needed with the most cost-effective solution.Report any potential problems to the Maintenance Manager.Perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.Interact professionally and diplomatically with managers, co-workers, and vendors.Be available for emergency maintenance.May be required to operate a forklift.Cleans shop and parts area at the end of every shiftOther duties as assigneQUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma, or equivalent requiredMinimum of 2-4 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician.Strong Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Systems, as well as industrial equipment and machinery.Be able to understand PLC ladder logicAbility to work with Voltage from ( 5V DC to 480V AC )Ability to assemble and align gears, bearings, and shaftsAbility to inspect equipment for defectsAbility to install and maintain various pipe systemsExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issuesAbility to read and interpret technical diagrams and manualsStrong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environmentPossess basic computer skills to complete work orders and other computer work as directedExperience with Preventive maintenance programs ( CMMS )High attention to detail and strong commitment to qualityUnderstanding of safety and environmental regulations.Fluent in EnglishAbility to lift and work in physically demanding conditionsAbility to operate a forklift if neededFollow and adhere to Lock-out / Tag-out procedures at all timesCleans shop and parts area at the end of every shiftMUST be a US Personnel - ITAR FacilityPHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
