We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Equipment Specialist/Journeyman, to help deliver logistics equipment support in the areas of Aircraft Modification, Tech Orders Support, Tech Order Research, Technical Source Data Packages support, and Equipment/Tech Order Drawings support. This opportunity is located at Robins AFB, Georgia.
Desired Qualifications And Skills
Logistics Equipment Specialist/Journeyman assist the Government in coordinating, and scheduling aircraft modifications and Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) related activities such as site/aircraft surveys, major inspections, trial installations, physical configuration inspections, physical configuration audits, kit proofs, production installations. The candidate will travel to CONUS/OCONUS Government locations or weapon system contractor facilities to assist with providing maintenance assistance, support, problem resolution and modification program development and field support visits. The candidate will maintain access/driving privileges to flight line, hangars, industrial areas, and maintain Personal Protective Equipment safety.
The Candidate Will Typically Work Independently And Apply The Proper Procedures And Processes To The Job. Must Have The Ability To Problem Solve And Troubleshoot Various Situations To Develop Successful Outcomes Within Established Program / Project Guidelines. The Candidate Must Also Conduct Research, And Provide Logistical, Technical And Analysis Support. Last, The Candidate Should Be Proficient With the Systems/programs Such As

Qualifications
Minimum Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD or other United States Government (USG) ISR/SOF Organizations. OR, seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications, five of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations.
Responsibilities
Equipment Specialist/Journeyman : Provide Aircraft Modification support by assisting the Government in coordinating, and scheduling aircraft modifications and Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) related activities (e.g., site/aircraft surveys, major inspections, trial installations, physical configuration inspections, physical configuration audits, kit proofs, production installations). Will travel to CONUS/OCONUS Government locations or weapon system contractor facilities to assist the Government with providing maintenance assistance, support, problem resolution and modification program development and field support visits (during visits will maintain access to flight line and hangars, driver's privileges for industrial area and flight line, and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) safety).
Deliver Technical Orders (TOs) support such as assisting the Government with providing logistical and technical expertise, including but not limited to evaluation of organizational, intermediate, commodity, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) and depot Technical Orders (TOs) affected by common or unique modifications. Assist the Government in the review and verification of TOs and provide source data for TCTOs to ensure technical validity.
Deliver Technical Order Research by assisting the Government with logistical and technical expertise in researching TOs, associated data for completeness, correctness, and accuracy, and providing recommended changes and ensure accurate information is available in the development of Technical Manual Contract Requirements (TMCR) documents.
Assist the Government with Technical Source Data Packages by providing logistical and technical expertise regarding Source Data Packages (SDPs), determine the effects of each package on existing On-Equipment Maintenance Set (OEMS) data, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), and conventional TOs. Prepare and maintain a TO status log to provide the overall technical manual status of the SOF/PR weapon systems and conduct studies/analyses and prepare a technical report to documenting recommendations.
Provide Drawings Support by reviewing documents, drawings and engineering technical data generated to resolve deficiencies at system/subsystem levels and conduct studies/analyses and prepare a technical report to documenting recommendations.
