Job summary

Transport Refrigeration of NW Arkansas, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Installer for its Lowell, AR location. This part-time role involves installing transport refrigeration, APU units, diesel heaters, and custom parts for trucks and trailers.

You will work with a skilled team, meet installation targets, and travel occasionally for training. A valid driver’s license and relevant certifications are preferred. Competitive pay and training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational training (or equivalent experience).
• Basic mechanical and electrical installation skills.
• Professional, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in varied shop/outdoor environments.
• Own toolbox with basic hand tools.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
• Certifications: EPA 609, Tri-Pac Install, Forklift; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install APU units, cab air heaters, coolant heaters, and refrigeration units (new and used).
• Install cab air conditioning systems and assemble custom parts for customers or OEMs.
• Operate forklifts, hoists, and power tools safely.
• Meet standard installation times while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Travel occasionally for training or customer needs.
• Support teammates and uphold safety standards.
