Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an Equipment Installer II to ensure quality installation of equipment in Data Center/Construction environments, following engineering drawings and customer standards. This is a field-based role with regional and occasional national travel.

The candidate will install equipment, analyze drawings on-site, uphold safety, and provide strong customer service while using basic MS Office and performing data entry tasks. Background checks and screenings are required.

Qualifications

• OSHA10 required, OSHA30 preferred
• Fall protection preferred
• Manlift/Forklift certification preferred
• Basic safety PPE awareness

Job Description POSITION SUMMARY An Equipment Installer II is responsible for quality installation of equipment in Data Center/Construction environments as specified in engineering instructions and drawings and in accordance with customer standards. This is a field-based position, requiring regional and occasional national travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install equipment in Data Center/Construction environments


• On-site analysis of job drawings, specifications and MOPs


• Ensure quality installations by conforming to all applicable standards


• Perform all work with safety as the top priority. This includes following all company and customer mandated procedures as well as utilizing the proper PPE for the task at hand


• Maintain professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service


• Use computer for Data Entry/Administrative tasks


• Ability to pass background, drug, and motor vehicle screening

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Strong verbal, written and customer-facing skills


• Basic computer skills to include MS Office or equivalent


• Basic knowledge and skills with hand tools

STANDARD TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

• OSHA10 required, OSHA30 preferred


• Fall protection preferred
