Job summary

Auto-Chlor System is seeking an Equipment Installer to join our nationwide service team in California. You will install, diagnose, and repair restaurant and hospitality equipment at customer locations, ensuring safety and compliance, and providing basic operator training.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (minimum of 3 years)
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Safely operate a company vehicle
• Lift and carry up to 70 pounds
• Climb stairs at locations as needed

Responsibilities

• Set up and install Auto‑Chlor equipment at customer sites per site requirements and layouts
• Diagnose equipment issues in the field and perform repairs to maintain operation of dishwashing systems
• Verify installations are safe, functional, and compliant with local regulations and company standards
• Respond to urgent service calls and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Test, clean, and inspect equipment before handover to customers
• Utilize hand and power tools for installations, repairs, and modifications
• Work with pumps, plumbing, wiring, controls, and other mechanical/electrical components during installation and service
• Provide basic training to managers and staff on equipment operation and safety
• Assist with shop production, refurbishments, and other branch activities

Pay Range

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and get Auto‑Chlor equipment up and running at customer locations, ensuring everything is installed according to site requirements and approved layouts.
• Diagnose equipment issues in the field and perform repairs to keep dishwashing systems operating efficiently.
• Verify installations are completed safely, function properly, and align with local regulations and company standards.
• Respond to urgent service calls when customers require immediate assistance.
• Test, clean, and inspect equipment before turning it over to the customer to ensure it is ready for daily use.
• Regularly use a variety of hand and power tools to complete installations, repairs, and equipment modifications.
• Work with pumps, plumbing, wiring, controls, and other mechanical and electrical components during installation, refurbishing, and service work.
• Demonstrate proper equipment operation and provide basic training to managers and staff to ensure safe and effective use.
• Assist with shop production, equipment rebuilds, installations, maintenance, and other operational projects as needed to support branch activities.
