Job summary

Hugg & Hall Equipment Company in Arkansas is seeking an Equipment Inspector to join the Operations Team. You will perform inspections, verify safety, and help keep the equipment yard organized, clean returned gear, and assist with loading and unloading with safety as a top priority.

The ideal candidate has mechanical knowledge, a clean driving record, a high school diploma or equivalent, and good communication skills using radios, phones and email.

• Ability to read and follow instructions.

Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is looking for someone with mechanical knowledge and familiarity with various types of equipment to join our team as an Equipment Inspector. ABOUT THE POSITION

Equipment Inspectors function as part of the Operations Team and are responsible for performing equipment inspections and maintaining the equipment yard.

In this role, you will:

• Inspect equipment for defects/damages and determine the safety of equipment being rent-ready
• Maintain Equipment Yard organization and flow ensuring proper placement
• Clean returned equipment and assisting with preparation of returning equipment to rental-ready
• Assist with loading and unloading of equipment with safety as a top priority

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong organization skills not limited to parts, equipment, accessories, batteries, buckets, trailers, etc. Ability to accomplish duties with accuracy and timeliness
• Ability to self-motivate which is required to stay on track, maintain organization, and make continuous progress
• Ability to learn and obtain certification (if applicable) on proper equipment operation on various types of material handling and construction equipment
