Seagate Technology in Fremont, CA seeks an Engineering Specialist III for Equipment Engineering on the Day Shift. You will support routine vacuum system operation for R&D, assist with reconfigurations, and document troubleshooting results while following cleanroom and safety procedures.

This on-site role requires 11.5-hour shifts, local travel as needed, and a background in Electrical/Mechatronics tech. No visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical training in EE/Mechatronics.
• Safety-focused with commitment to a clean, controlled work environment.
• Team-oriented with clear communication and collaboration.
• Systematic problem solver using schematics and data.

Responsabilités

• Support routine vacuum system operation, basic maintenance, and equipment readiness for R&D.
• Assist with system reconfigurations, staging, and material movement under supervision.
• Troubleshoot routine electrical, control-system, mechanical and vacuum faults; document findings and escalate complex issues.
• Follow cleanroom, safety, and SOPs to maintain a safe, compliant workspace.
• Maintain documentation for maintenance activities, part usage, troubleshooting results, and equipment status.
