Job summary

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot equipment and apply structured engineering problem-solving to diagnose issues.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively with operators, maintenance personnel, engineers, management and auditors.
• Experience supporting process scale-up, equipment implementation or manufacturing improvement projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for manufacturing, facility and utility equipment focusing on capability, performance, safety and process implementation.
• Serve as Equipment Engineering SME supporting Process Engineering for scale-ups, technology transfer, equipment selection and modification.
• Evaluate interfaces and capabilities to ensure safe implementation of new or modified processes in manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, controls and equipment issues using root-cause analysis.
• Lead or support equipment modifications, upgrades, replacements and installations for improvements.
• Support equipment qualification, commissioning, change management and documentation.
• Partner with Process Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, Quality and EHS during scale-up and ongoing manufacturing support.
• Support capital projects involving production equipment, utilities, infrastructure, automation and energy-efficiency improvements.
• Provide equipment-focused guidance to Maintenance and Operations.
• Support engineering activities across other FUCHS locations.
