Job summary

Tag Systems USA in Eatontown, NJ is seeking an experienced Equipment Engineer for a full-time role. You will troubleshoot high-speed printing and automated equipment, read schematics, and work closely with production, maintenance, and IT teams to maintain equipment reliability.

The position requires hands-on problem solving, safety compliance, and the ability to work outside of typical hours to respond to critical equipment issues. Strong mechanical/ electrical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on equipment engineering or related field.
• Experience troubleshooting high-speed manufacturing and printing equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Follow safety procedures and work with production teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
• Assist with setup, changeovers, and upgrades of machinery.
• Collaborate with vendors and IT to resolve issues.
• Train junior maintenance staff as needed.
