Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Chandler, AZ is seeking an Equipment Engineer to be responsible for processes and tool ownership in a high-volume manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and experience with semiconductor tools.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, effective collaboration with teams, and the ability to generate and analyze performance data. Candidates must be able to maintain an Export Control Clearance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline is required, preferably mechanical or industrial engineering or similar.
  • Experience in Photo, Metrology or Plating tools is preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience (semiconductor preferred) in process or equipment engineering over a variety of toolsets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Identify and reduce sources of variation, implementing zero defect processes.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts, manage critical part inventory.
