Job summary

JINGDONG Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Equipment Engineer in the United States (Atlanta, GA or New Jersey) to plan and execute automation projects, develop SOPs, and maintain automated equipment. You will analyze performance data and collaborate across teams to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires a Mechanical/Mechatronics/Automation background with 1+ year experience in warehouse automation, strong troubleshooting, and effective communication in English.

Provide training to operators to ensure safe, standardized, and efficient equipment usage.Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated equipment. Respond promptly to equipment abnormalities and issues to ensure stable and reliable operations.Equipment Performance & Continuous Improvement: Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify factors affecting efficiency and reliability. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment utilization, improve operational efficiency, and reduce downtime.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Warehouse Operations, Planning, IT, Engineering, and other relevant teams to resolve equipment and operational issues and ensure automation systems continuously and reliably support warehouse operations.About You:Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.Relevant Experience: 1+ year of experience with warehouse automation equipment, industrial equipment, equipment maintenance, or a related field. Strong entry-level candidates and recent graduates may also be considered.Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of mechanical systems, automation equipment, and related control systems, with the ability to understand equipment operating principles and common failure modes.Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Hands-on experience with equipment inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, with the ability to independently analyze and resolve equipment-related issues.Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Basic ability to analyze equipment operating data and identify opportunities for performance and reliability improvements through data-driven problem solving.Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Warehouse Operations, Engineering, IT, and other cross-functional teams.Language Skills: Strong English communication skills required.
