Job summary

EcoFlow in Fort Worth, TX seeks an Equipment Engineer to own the lifecycle of production equipment—from evaluation and installation to maintenance and continuous improvement. You will lead commissioning of new lines and train operators to ensure a smooth handover.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or automation engineering, with 3+ years in equipment management in a high‑volume environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in equipment management and maintenance in high-volume manufacturing.
  • Experience in prismatic cell Battery Pack assembly processes is highly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is a significant advantage for overseas coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Lead evaluation, installation, and commissioning of new production equipment and train operators.
  • Create and update SOPs, equipment inspection checklists, and maintenance protocols.
  • Manage equipment fixed assets and maintain a spare parts inventory to minimize downtime.
  • Perform equipment debugging and fault repairs; organize periodic maintenance schedules.
  • Oversee equipment safety management and ensure OSHA and local safety standards compliance.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Equipment Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for the production equipment, from evaluation and installation to maintenance and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in automated production lines.

Job Responsibilities
  • Equipment Commissioning: Lead the evaluation, installation, and commissioning of new production equipment. Conduct technical training for operators and technicians to ensure smooth handovers.
  • Standardization & Documentation: Create and update standardized operating procedures (SOPs), equipment inspection checklists, and comprehensive maintenance protocols (preventive/predictive).
  • Spare Parts Management: Manage equipment fixed assets and maintain a critical spare parts inventory (especially wear-and-tear items) to minimize downtime.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform the equipment debugging and fault repairs; organize and implement periodic maintenance schedules.
  • Safety & Compliance: Oversee equipment safety management and ensure all machinery meets OSHA and local safety standards.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in equipment management and maintenance within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Industry Background: Prior experience in prismatic cell Battery Pack assembly processes is highly preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is a significant advantage for effective coordination with overseas stakeholders.
